I love a good reflection.
At the end of a calendar year. During the waning moon. The closing of a season.
My 33rd birthday is today. And I’ve been doing a little looking back on this past run around the sun. It always feels like big things have happened, but this year especially I feel as though I’ve learned quite a bit.
I feel as though I’ve changed my life. Not in the ‘now I’m perfect’ kind of way, but closer to the ‘I’m coming home to myself’ type of change.
And I guess we are (hopefully) always changing. We are evolving, growing, and learning.
But this year.
There have been a few people, tools, and inspirations that have helped me immensely.
And I felt compelled to share them. They might not resonate or be right for you, but on the off chance that they may help you in big or small ways … here they are.
To Be Magnetic. The biggest shifts that I have witnessed during my 32nd year have deeply coincided along this work. Lacy Phillips has created workshops and deep imaginings to retrain your subconscious + your core beliefs about yourself, resulting in attracting more of the situations, people, + circumstances you desire in your life. She now offers all of her workshops in the Pathway Membership subscription, and I can highly recommend the Daily Reprogramming Exercise, Reparent, and Shadow. Truly helpful work!
Alexis Smart Flower Remedies. I have never given much attention to flower remedies before, but I was pulled in when I listened to this podcast. A simple and easy way to heal emotions and shift your vibrational energy. I gave Whole Hearted a go, and have had some pretty dramatic shifts.
Connecting with the Moon. For me this has been the spiritual focus of my last year. Aligning and learning about the moon has helped me to integrate and accept more aspects of my femininity. It has helped me to see that as a sensitive woman, I have not been made to be someone who shows up the same day in and day out. I shift. I cycle. My energy waxes and wanes like the moon. And frankly, if its good enough for the moon, its good enough for me. I’m excited to jump into this book next and hold this full moon gathering in April.
Giving up Coffee. Not so much a resource, but more of an idea. I have almost 100% given up coffee since January 1. (I’ve had probably 2-3 cups since the beginning of the year.) It has made a huge shift in supporting my nervous system and also I see a big change in my skin. I am a huge believer in finding your own groove and doing what works for your unique life + body, but if you are a sensitive woman, I suggest swapping tea for coffee and just observing how you feel. Less anxiety, a more balanced hormonal system, and more hydrated skin has been what I have seen.
Whether you are reflecting on February, your birthday, or any other close you are experiencing in your life, what has helped + supported you most? And what are you looking to call in as you move forward?
