The end of fall. Look around to nature to inform us, to guide us. Showing us we do not have to be blossoming all year round. That there is time for release, for reflection in the dark, and for rest.
The following is my manifesto, my prayer going into winter.
I let go of negativity, mimicking the trees as they shed their own leaves, their own weight.
I allow more space, more unplanned time to tune into my wisdom, to enjoy my own company, and simple be. I see the example you have given us, Mother Earth. Just as the flowers and the fruit and the plants cannot be harvested year round, my own determination and growth must allow for hibernation and rest.
I let go of the constant distraction, the distraction that keeps me from assessing my power. And with this space, I am open to see where I am blocking myself. Where I don’t think I am worthy of love. I am open to see the unexpected; I am open to see what I have not seen before.
I release into the mess, trusting the plan.
I step into the kitchen, candles lit, my own sanctuary of connection, where i nourish and create and feed the loved ones I am so lucky to have around me.
This is my energy I am consciously creating stepping into winter. Let mine not be yours, but an inspiration to write your own. To allow your heart speak to you. What do you need to shed this season? Where can you release and be guided by nature in quiet, reflection, and stillness? What are you willing to see that you would not look at before? What is holding you back?
And let us remember.
We DO NOT have to be constantly busy.
We DO NOT have to do as others do.
We DO NOT have to hold ourselves back.
In fact, we get to make our own manifesto.
We get to live in conjunction with the beautiful seasons, and we are not always the same. We grow, we shed, we evolve, and become. And let us see the beauty in that.
