The things I am loving this late summer season:Read More
Its just a simple desk.
Its something my husband nailed to the wall. But he created space for me. Once an empty corner is a space for me to unfold. To unfold and tap into who I am.
I play my favorite french music. I do my makeup. I tap tap my fingers to write and reflect. Here in this little corner, I feel at home.
Its just a simple desk.
That my husband built.
It came together with a creative vision and some words exchanged and hammer, wood, and nails.
Its this humble space where I unfold.
Its this humble space that waits for me every morning as I sip my tea and holds space for me to just be who I am. And who I want to be.
This simple little corner. I feel more connected and true and honest here more than anywhere.
And what other open spaces and simple little things are waiting for us to give life to?
Maybe if we curbed our worry and our complaints, we could start creating simple, little things that changed our lives in simple, huge ways.
Maybe if we thought, what can I build, instead of what isn’t right, we would surprise ourselves with the capacity we hold and what we can become. With who we already are, hiding behind what we are certain isn’t right.
Maybe. It just takes a little corner, some creativity, and some help.
The summer is a time of light, and a time of major shifts to take hold. I am so grateful for the tools, the people, and the resources that I have discovered this season to support me in elevating and evolving my self-care, my relationships, and my day to day experience.Read More
In a world where we are all 'connected' as ever, through our phones, social media, and the numerous technological modalities, many of us feel as disconnected as ever. From presence, from authenticity, from fulfillment, from magic.
Finding connection in the hustle and bustle of adult life can indeed feel like a struggle.Read More
This past month I have set my intention to be one of focus.
I, for a long while, have known in my mind that where my focus is in my life is also what my experience becomes. If my focus lies in gratitude, all that I have, creating, loving, and enjoying; well of course this is my reality and my heart is full. But on the other side, if my focus is zoomed in on how things could be different, how situations are unfair, and on my own imperfections and my life's imperfections ... well, this become the lens I see my life through.Read More
October for me has been a month of relishing the simple. I am so overjoyed when I can see beauty in small details and appreciate things I normally take for granted : warm light, steam from a hot morning beverage, the perfect song at the perfect time. Something I rarely find when I am rushing to and fro. Fall and winter are the months that I also find myself naturally slowing down; the months to sit with family, create more space to rest, and create in the kitchen.Read More

I am so excited to welcome one of my dear friends Krista Tarantino to the blog today. Krista has been an inspiration to me for a few years now and I love how passionate she is not only about her personal health and well-being, but also around bringing more of conscious and informed lifestyle + information to others. As a nurse and the co-creator and co-owner of American Weekend, a beautiful vintage online store, Krista's definition of living a wellness lifestyle expands well beyond what is on her plate.Read More
