One of the things I love about the holidays is giving great gifts. I am almost always more excited to give someone I love a perfect gift than I am excited receiving something. Thinking of others and really tuning into what they might like is truly beneficial for expanding your relationships and heart opening for yourself as well. Its not necessarily the actual item that is improving your capacity for great relationships and love, but the exercise of thinking of others, tuning into and listening to what makes them tick, and then investing in your relationship (with time and/or money). For instance, making someone healthy cookies who loves sweets but is trying to eat more wholesome is a great investment in time toward your relationship, not to mention supporting their well-being....and meditative for you as well. I have made a list of some of my favorite things that make amazing gifts for the holidays. Whether you make or buy gifts, when your love and intention is there... it will be perfect.

For The Lady Who Loves Self-Care
Did you know your skin is your largest organ? It absorbs what you put on it and that goes directly in your bloodstream. If you know someone that loves a good beauty regime, try turning them on to some natural products. Annmarie Gianni has really spectacular skin care products. They smell amazing, they are responsibly made, and they actually work. Now that is self care. My favorite products so far are the purifying mud mask (pictured above) and the herbal facial oil.
For The Spiritual Priestess
Gifts don't necessarily need to be objects. This livestream event with spirit junkie Gabby Bernstein and wellness maven Kris Carr is sure to be inspiring and revitalizing. The gift of being a happier, healthier, more powerful you? Yes, please.

Moon Juice Beauty Dust. I can't tell you I've tried this, but a powder complete with goji, rehmannia, pearl dust, and schisandra promising to enhance glowing skin, preserve youth, and tonify...yeah, its on my Christmas list. Add a teaspoon of this powder to nut milk, water, or tea and let the beauty dust do its thing.

For The Mom (Or Anyone For That Matter) That Needs A Moment
Not all gifts are bought. Try your hand at making a few. Scented bath salts are great gifts for people that need some extra pampering in their lives... or simply, a moment to themselves. Below is a bath salt recipe that will be good for 2-4 gifts, depending on the size of the jar you use to gift them in.
5 cups epsom salts
1/2 cup sea salt
4 tablespoons baking soda
7 tablespoons dried lavender buds
20-25 drops therapeutic grade lavender essential oil (i.e doTerra, Young Living)
10 drops therapeutic grade orange essential oil
Combine all of the above ingredients in a large bowl. Mix until well combined. Scoop into large glass containers that are sealable to preserve scent and freshness.
Instructions for the tagging: "To use, run a warm bath and scoop ¼ cup to 1 cup of the bath salts into the bathtub. Relax, enjoy, and de-stress. "
Lavender: Best known for its calming affect, lavender is a great ingredient to add to your bath when your body and mind need some help to calm down and restore. Lavender also helps to lower blood pressure and improve circulation; a wonderful benefit for the cold weather months.
Epsom Salts: These therapeutic salts are simply the minerals magnesium and sulfate. They help to detox and relax the body, making this soak ingredients wonderful for sore muscles and keeping illness at bay. Soaking in a bath with epsom salts is one of the easiest ways to de-stress and rejuvenate your body and mind.
Happy Holidays to everyone. I hope your holidays are full of fun, family, peace, and joy.
